Privacy Policy
Who we are
Our website address is: https://mountainrecruiting.com. Mountain Group LLC ("Mountain Recruiting," "we," "us") provides candidate screening and qualification services.
Collection of Personal Information
We collect personal information, such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you register on our website, sign up for our newsletter, apply or inquire about a position, or contact us through our website. We may also collect information about your browsing and usage habits when you visit our website.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal information based on your consent, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, or as required by law.
What Personal Data do We Collect and Why
We collect the following Personal Data from users of the Site: name, email, phone number, and address when you register, fill out our contact us form or register for our newsletter, or express interest in a position. This information may also be provided by our customers on behalf of their drivers or employees. We use it to deliver our recruiting services, communicate with you, and send marketing messages.
For payment processing, we may collect your bank or credit card details, which are handled by a third-party processor.
Candidates and Background Screening
If you apply for or are being considered for a position with one of our clients, we collect additional Personal Data needed to provide our recruiting and candidate qualification services. This may include your current address, driver's license classification, name, phone number and employment qualifications.
Where a background check is required, it is performed by First Advantage, a consumer reporting agency, and is initiated only after you receive a standalone disclosure and provide written authorization as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Background screening data and results are collected, processed, and retained within the First Advantage platform. We do not download, print, or store background reports outside that platform.
We share candidate Personal Data only as needed to provide our services: with First Advantage to perform the screening you have authorized, and with the client/prospective hiring company considering your application. If screening results may lead to an unfavorable decision, you will receive the pre-adverse and adverse action notices required by the FCRA, including a copy of your report and a summary of your rights.
What are the Sources of our Personal Data
We collect Personal Data about you in two primary ways: directly from you and from third parties. You may provide this information to us directly, or it may be collected automatically when you use our Services. In addition, we may receive Personal Data from third parties ("Third Parties") who share information about you with us such as a client or prospective employer that refers you to us for candidate qualification, a consumer reporting agency performing a background check you have authorized, or service providers (such as analytics companies) that help us understand how users interact with our Services.
What Information Gets Collected Automatically
We use cookies and similar technologies (like web beacons and pixel tags) to recognize your browser, understand how you use our Services, and improve your experience. Cookies are small data files placed on your device that analyze usage and maintain preferences. We may also receive cookie data from third parties. Note that our Services currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
We use three types of cookies:
- Essential – Needed to provide core features.
- Functional – Remember your settings and preferences.
- Performance/Analytical – Help us understand how users interact with our Services.
You can manage cookie settings through your browser. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, though doing so may impact some features. Learn more at www.allaboutcookies.org.

We use different types of cookies to enhance your experience with our Services. Essential Cookies are necessary to provide the core features or services you request. Functional Cookies help remember your preferences and settings over time, allowing us to recognize you when you return to our Services. Performance or Analytical Cookies enable us to understand how visitors interact with our Services by collecting data such as the number of visitors, the pages they view, and the duration of their visits.
We will not collect additional categories of Personal Data or use the Personal Data we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.
