Ask a QuestionWe run your complete driver sourcing and qualification pipeline. We post and optimize job ads on Indeed (using your account or ours), screen every applicant by phone, send qualified candidates the First Advantage background check link, and then manage drug test and physical exam scheduling through to completion. You only see candidates who are fully cleared and ready to hire — your part is the road test and the decision.
We're a recruiting operations partner, not a staffing agency. We charge a flat monthly fee and support your entire recruiting workflow. The drivers work for you. Unlike generic recruiters, we specialize exclusively in service provider operations — the compliance requirements, timelines, and what makes a driver actually stick.
Expect 12–14 days from kickoff to your first fully cleared candidate. The timeline breaks down as: Days 1–3 for ad creation, approval, and initial screening calls; Days 4–8 for background check processing; Days 9–13 for drug test and physical completion. We can share a candidate's contact info as soon as they've gone for their drug test appointment — before results are back — so you can start the conversation while processing finishes.
We initiate the profile using only name and contact info. The candidate completes everything else directly in the platform's secure portal — including all disclosures, authorization, and their own sensitive identifiers. We never handle SSNs or dates of birth.
Our flat monthly rate per station covers custom job descriptions, all major job board posting, phone screening, interview scheduling, background check ordering and monitoring, drug test and physical ordering, candidate follow-up through full clearance, and monthly KPI reporting. Drug test and physical costs are billed at cost by the testing provider — we don't mark them up. Contact us for current pricing.
Yes — month-to-month, pause anytime, no penalties. When you pause, we can continue monitoring incoming leads for a short window and keep ads running at a low level if you want. When you restart, expect about 12 days to rebuild an active pipeline from scratch. Our most successful clients keep the service running continuously even in slower months — because the goal is building a bench of pre-screened candidates, so when a driver quits tomorrow you're not starting from zero. Volume arrangements are available for multi-station operators.
Mountain Group is headquartered in the United States, and that's where our leadership and core team operate. We also run a dedicated back-office support team in India that keeps our recruiting pipeline moving around the clock — so your candidates are being worked 24 hours a day, not just during US business hours. All personnel use named accounts with enforced MFA on company-controlled encrypted devices.
We specifically look for candidates with backgrounds in hard physical work — warehouse workers, laborers, roofers, firefighters, plumbers, HVAC technicians, movers, and construction workers. People who already know what a tough day on their feet feels like. During every phone screen we're upfront about what the job demands: bending and lifting hundreds of times a day, driving a large vehicle in all weather, a physically intense pace. Candidates who can't commit to that don't advance. We actively filter out desk workers, chefs, cooks, and bus drivers — backgrounds that don't translate to FedEx P&D delivery. Our job is to send you people who can actually do the work, not just fill a slot.
The funnel is tighter than most operators expect — and that's intentional. On average: out of 20 applicants, roughly 10–12 are worth calling. Of those, we send about 10 the First Advantage background check link. Around 6 will complete it. Of those 6, typically 2–3 will clear the drug test and physical and be fully hire-ready. This is exactly why we follow up with each candidate a minimum of 12 times — to push as many qualified people through the funnel as possible and reduce drop-off at every stage.
We follow up with each candidate a minimum of 12 times — to make sure they complete the background check form, show up to their drug test and physical, and get answers to any questions along the way. If a profile gets stuck inside First Advantage, we contact First Advantage directly on your behalf to resolve it. If a candidate has questions while filling out their forms, we walk them through it. You never have to chase a candidate or troubleshoot a stuck file yourself.
